ALMERIA AIRPORT
Proposal for enlargement and remodelling of the Terminal building.
2001. Almería.

The building is fairly new and features a roof in a singular design that wraps around the entire complex.  

The enlargement project will apply to all three levels of the building (basement, ground floor and first floor).  

The proposal for enlargement and remodelling aims to increase surface area and usage, without changing the current architectural image of the building. 

The new airport will be significantly larger, with the principal objective of improving functionality while at the same time offering a harmonious, unified complex that is appropriate to its surroundings.  

The existing building, with a singular and attractive design, is very well maintained.  The enlargement project will involve major alterations and, in accordance with planned usage, will also need some modification of finishes and installations.
